Job summary

Tribe is partnering with a well-regarded consultancy delivering modern data platforms and analytics outcomes for enterprise clients. This senior, hands-on role leads delivery, shapes solutions, and partners with stakeholders from discovery through to production-ready data products.

You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and consulting, building robust platforms in Databricks and uplifting ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end delivery of data platform and analytics engagements (discovery → design → build → uplift → handover).
• Designing and building Databricks solutions (lakehouse patterns, medallion architecture, Delta, batch/stream where relevant).
• Developing high-quality pipelines and transformations (often using PySpark / SQL).
• Implementing CI/CD, testing, observability, documentation, and secure-by-design delivery.
• Partnering with client stakeholders to translate business problems into pragmatic technical approaches and delivery plans.
• Coaching others in the team (reviewing work, setting standards, supporting capability uplift).
• Contributing to proposals, estimates, and shaping future opportunities.

About the role

You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and consulting: building robust platforms in Databricks, uplifting ways of working, and helping clients get tangible value from their data.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end-to-end delivery of data platform and analytics engagements (discovery → design → build → uplift → handover).
• Designing and building Databricks solutions (lakehouse patterns, medallion architecture, Delta, batch/stream where relevant).
• Developing high-quality pipelines and transformations (often using PySpark / SQL), with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implementing good engineering practices: CI/CD, testing, observability, documentation, and secure-by-design delivery.
• Partnering with client stakeholders to translate business problems into pragmatic technical approaches and delivery plans.
• Coaching others in the team (reviewing work, setting standards, supporting capability uplift).
• Contributing to proposals, estimates, and shaping future opportunities (depending on your interest).
