Jora New Zealand seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer / BI Consultant to bridge business and technology. This client-facing, hands-on role leads discovery workshops, designs modern data solutions, and builds scalable analytics platforms that deliver real business outcomes.

You will engage stakeholders to understand challenges and reporting needs, design analytics solutions, build data models with Snowflake and dbt, and develop robust SQL-based pipelines while supporting Power BI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering data and analytics solutions.
• Experience designing & building enterprise data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges and reporting requirements.
• Design and implement modern analytics solutions.
• Build and optimise data models using Snowflake and dbt.
• Develop robust SQL-based transformation pipelines and analytical data products.
• Support Power BI and other BI platforms with analytics-ready data structures.
• Provide technical leadership across client engagements.
