Job summary

Fusion5 is expanding its Agent Operations Centre in Auckland, NZ, and seeks a senior software engineer to join a small core team. This hands-on role spans React front end, TypeScript back end and cloud infrastructure, with ownership from problem definition to production operation.

You will work in an AI-native engineering environment, applying sound judgment, security and reliability practices while collaborating with stakeholders and early customers to drive platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production SaaS software.
• Ability to own problems end-to-end from investigation to production operation.
• Comfort working across React front-end and TypeScript back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Own significant changes end-to-end from understanding to production operation.
• Build and evolve customer-facing capabilities across React front end and TypeScript back end.
• Develop services, APIs and data models for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Improve Azure infrastructure, pipelines and production safeguards.
• Strengthen observability and security practices across the stack.
• Investigate production issues across boundaries and deploy fixes safely.
• Collaborate with internal teams and early customers to turn feedback into product improvements.
