Job summary

Fusion5 in New Zealand is hiring a senior software engineer to join the Agent Operations Centre, a live SaaS platform that helps organisations observe and govern AI agents in production. This is a hands-on role with ownership across the application and cloud stack, from investigation through deployment and production operations.

You will work in an AI-native environment, prioritising security, correctness and reliability while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating production SaaS software.
• Ability to own problems from problem definition to production deployment.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end changes from idea to production.
• Build and evolve React front end and TypeScript back end.
• Develop services, APIs and data models for a secure multi-tenant SaaS.
• Improve telemetry, observability and production safeguards.
• Strengthen security practices across identity and data.
• Collaborate with internal teams and early customers to improve product.
