Job summary

Summerset Retirement Villages – Wanganui, North Island is seeking an inspirational Care Centre Manager to lead the village care team, including Nurses and Caregivers. You will report to the Village Manager and drive the centre's daily operations with a focus on staffing, budgeting, and compliance.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional on-call duties including weekends and nights.

• Experience working in clinical/nursing or aged care settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care centre's daily operations and strategic direction.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and compliance.
• Coach and develop the care team including Nurses and Caregivers.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and external agencies.
• Support clinical decision-making and ensure high-quality care.
