The Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai (the Authority) was established as a Crown Entity in 2021, following the outbreak of illness in the Havelock North community as a result of drinking contaminated water from the public water supply. The Authority oversees and regulates the safety and quality of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services across New Zealand. You’ll provide trusted advice, while supporting business continuity, organisational risk, assurance, information management and workplace services. Working collaboratively across the Authority, you’ll turn policies and frameworks into practical solutions and help build a strong culture of safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

• A track record of developing, reviewing and implementing policies, frameworks and operating procedures that strengthen organisational performance and compliance.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, engage and work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
