The team supports effective prudential supervision of New Zealand's insurance sector by providing specialist actuarial advice and insights on insurer solvency, financial position and emerging risks.As Senior Advisor - Actuarial, you will provide authoritative, sound and timely actuarial advice and technical support to prudential supervisors, management and other areas of the Reserve Bank. Your work will focus on assessing insurers' ongoing solvency compliance and financial position, identifying and monitoring emerging stress and risk, supporting insurer crisis management, and contributing to industry-wide stress testing and thematic reviews.
