MBIE in Wellington seeks a Senior Advisor to support the Head of Innovation and Business Capability. You will help ensure the business unit operates effectively, delivering on priorities across planning, reporting, governance and strategy.
This varied role requires quickly grasping new topics, thriving in ambiguity, and applying excellent communication to complex issues while connecting people, information and processes across the unit.
The Senior Advisor supports the Head of Innovation and Business Capability and wider leadership team to ensure the business unit operates effectively and delivers on its priorities.
The role sits across a broad range of activities including business planning, reporting, governance, and strategic initiatives. It works closely with leaders and teams across the business unit to identify issues, coordinate activities, provide advice and support decision-making.
This is a varied role that requires someone who can quickly understand new topics, thrives in ambiguity and someone who has excellent communication skills, who can quickly get their head around complex and varied issues.
The role plays an important part in connecting people, information and process across the business unit, while helping to ensure priorities are delivered and opportunities are realised.
