Fulton Hogan in Dunedin is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support the Finance Manager with accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and practical commercial guidance across regional divisions. Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in accounting with CA or CPA designation.
• At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, legislation, financial reporting and commercial practices.
• Collaborative, down-to-earth style with ability to build trust and keep safety front of mind.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly accounting, reporting, forecasting and budget processes across regional divisions.
• Review P&Ls, WIP, inventories and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks, issues and opportunities early.
• Partner with divisional and departmental leaders to provide practical financial advice, support project cost reviews and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain strong financial controls, compliance and system integrity across JDE and related finance processes.
• Mentor and support accounting team members.

We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our Dunedin Region and help drive good work behind the scenes and on the ground. In this role, you’ll support the Finance Manager to deliver accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and practical commercial support across our operating divisions.

This is a senior role with real impact. You’ll work closely with divisional leaders, help shape better business decisions, mentor accounting team members, and keep things moving with a calm head and high standards. • Support monthly accounting, reporting, forecasting and budget processes across regional divisions, making sure deadlines are met and financial information is accurate.
• Review P&Ls, WIP reports, inventories and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks, issues and opportunities early.
• Partner with divisional and departmental leaders to provide practical financial advice, support project cost reviews and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain strong financial controls, compliance and system integrity across JDE and related finance processes.
