Job summary

dentsu Aotearoa is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Activations, PR and Influencer in Auckland. You will manage day-to-day client relationships and deliver integrated campaigns from brief to execution, with a focus on activations, events, PR and influencer work.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns run on time and on budget, while maintaining exceptional client service and proactive problem-solving at live events.

The role:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be a key member of the client service team, managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering integrated campaigns with a focus on activations, events, experiential, instore & ambient sampling, PR and influencer marketing, from brief through to execution. You'll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard, with the support of an Account Director.

Core responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day client communications, providing proactive updates and building strong, trusted relationships.
• Coordinate end-to-end project delivery, ensuring work is delivered on brief, on time and within budget.
• Lead event and activation logistics, including supplier coordination, pre-event planning and on-site execution to ensure a seamless experience.
• Prepare client-ready presentations, timelines, status reports and project documentation.
• Partner with creative, strategy, production and media teams to facilitate seamless workflows and project outcomes.

A bit about you:

• 2+ years' experience within an advertising, creative, marketing, events or integrated agency environment.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects, activations or events, balancing multiple stakeholders, deadlines and moving parts.
• Comfortable being on-site at events and activations, coordinating logistics, managing suppliers and problem-solving in real time.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with confidence engaging clients and cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding work.
