Dlf Seeds Australia - Careers is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a world-class NZ manufacturing site. You will take ownership of the site's refrigeration systems, performing daily maintenance and contributing to major plant upgrades.

Qualifications

• NZQA Level 4 Refrigeration qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong industrial refrigeration experience with ammonia essential.
• Solid fault-finding skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Based in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Look after industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia and freon plant equipment.
• Fault finding, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs.
• Preventative maintenance to keep the plant running at its best.
• Work with the engineering team on plant upgrades and capital projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and performance.
• Play a key role in developing the site's refrigeration plant.

We're working with a well-established NZ success story that's continuing to invest heavily in its people, plant, and future growth. They're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of the site's refrigeration systems.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from day-to-day maintenance and fault-finding, through to major plant upgrades and improvement projects.

What you'll be doing

• Looking after industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and freon plant equipment
• Fault finding, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs
• Preventative maintenance to keep the plant running at its best
• Working alongside the wider engineering team on plant upgrades and capital projects
• Helping identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance
• Playing a key role in the ongoing development of the site's refrigeration plant

What we're looking for

• NZQA Level 4 Refrigeration qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong industrial refrigeration experience - ammonia experience is essential

• Someone already based in New Zealand
