Job summary

NZTA's Security leadership role is to guide the technical roadmap and lifecycle of security platforms across a complex, hybrid cloud landscape. As Platform Lead, Security, you will combine deep technical credibility with strategic thinking to keep tooling reliable, scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

You will drive platform improvements iteratively using agile methods, working with vendors and internal teams to balance cost, risk and value while influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience owning enterprise platforms in complex environments.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver platform roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Experience across multi-vendor, multi-cloud and managed services.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and platform governance.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic and technical roadmaps and lifecycle of NZTA’s security platforms.
• Keep security tooling reliable, scalable and fit for purpose.
• Align platforms with NZTA’s digital strategy and enterprise architecture.
• Provide technical leadership across vendors in a multi-cloud environment.
• Make platform investment decisions on cost, risk and value.
