Millennium Services Group Limited is seeking a professional Security Officer on a casual basis for Invercargill Central. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents while delivering high standards of customer service in a busy shopping environment.

Required are a valid Security Licence, COA, First Aid and CPR, plus prior security experience. Availability for day and night shifts, weekdays and weekends is essential. NZ working rights apply.

• Certificate of Approval (COA) is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded).
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts.

Responsabilités

• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures.

About The Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Casual

Hourly rate: $26.00

Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Certificate of Approval (COA) is required
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
• Full New Zealand working rights
