EROAD Inc. in Auckland (Albany HQ) is seeking a Security Analyst to safeguard data, systems and services. You will monitor security activity, support investigations with the CISO and Information Security team, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the security posture.

You’ll work on cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure security, and use automation and AI to streamline tasks, with a focus on clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving within a fast-growing technology company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a security analyst or similar role.
• Experience with Python for automation.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with security frameworks.
• Exposure to security tools such as XDR, vulnerability scanning or CNAPP.
• Strong documentation of findings and actions.
• Collaborative communication with teammates.
• Interest in cybersecurity demonstrated through projects or self-study.
• Confidence using AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and review security activity across the business and flag issues early.
• Support investigations and response activity alongside the CISO and Information Security team.
• Contribute ideas to continuous improvement of EROAD's security posture.
• Help assess and strengthen cloud environments, endpoints and infrastructure.
• Use automation and AI tools to streamline monitoring, reporting and recurring tasks.
• Maintain clear documentation of findings, actions and improvements.
