Job summary

Energyline is seeking a motivated Lead for the second shift (2pm-10.00pm) to join our Christchurch production team. The role suits an experienced production or team leader or an early career professional aiming to develop into leadership.

You will lead the second shift, coordinate workflow, mentor the team and help maintain DIFOT targets through hands-on problem solving. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, while building leadership capabilities within a diverse crew.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team is desirable but not essential.
• Open, honest and supportive people skills.

Responsibilities

• Creating a positive, productive and safe working environment on our second shift.
• Driving continuous improvement in production, safety and quality.
• Providing leadership, direction, coaching and support to the team.
• Driving team performance, recognising contribution and managing performance issues.
• Resourcing and planning to ensure productivity and DIFOT targets are met.
• Coordinating workflow through production and stores, including effective shift handover.
• Getting stuck in and helping the team wherever necessary.
