Job summary

Alliance Group is hiring for seasonal roles at the Pukeuri Processing Plant in Oamaru. Join a multi-species processing facility as General Labourer, Boner, or Butcher, on day or night shifts with ongoing training and career development opportunities in New Zealand's primary industries sector.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and medical.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Physically capable of manual work.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Enjoy working in a team.
• Provide valid ID (Driver Licence, Passport, or Birth Certificate).
• Meat processing experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing duties across a variety of tasks within a multi-species operation
• Work on day shift (7.00am - 4.00pm) or night shift (5.00pm - 2.00am)
• Work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak production periods
• Maintain commitment to workplace health and safety
• Work as part of a team committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

About The Role

Alliance Group is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join the processing team at the Pukeuri Processing Plant in Oamaru for seasonal opportunities. Positions are available across a range of processing roles, including General Labourers, Boners, and Butchers. Positions are available on both day and night shifts within a large multi-species processing facility. Full-time seasonal employment is offered with competitive earnings, comprehensive training, and opportunities to develop your career in New Zealand's primary industries sector.

• Perform processing duties across a variety of tasks within a multi-species operation
• Work on day shift (7.00am - 4.00pm) or night shift (5.00pm - 2.00am)

About You

• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical assessment
• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Be physically fit and capable of performing manual work
• Be reliable, motivated, and committed to attendance
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Be able to provide valid proof of identity (Driver Licence, Passport, or Birth Certificate)
• Previous experience in the meat processing industry is advantageous but not essential
