Job summary

Alliance Group Limited in Dannevirke is seeking Meat Process Workers for night shift across multiple teams: Slaughter Board, Further Processing, Load Out, and Yards. Fresh entrants welcome; training will be provided, with drug testing and medicals part of pre-employment.

Opportunities to learn a range of meat processing skills plus supportive team environment. Roles include labouring and skilled positions with shift hours starting in the evening.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Meat Process duties across Slaughter Board, Further Processing, Load Out or Yards.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets.

Our 2026 – 2027 season is about to kick off at our Dannevirke Plant! We are currently looking for Meat Process Workers to join the team on Night shift.

Te Tūranga - The Role

Right now, we're looking for:

• Slaughter Board – Skilled Butchers, Labourers and Knife Hands
• Further Processing – Skilled Boners and Labourers
• Load Out – Freezer Hands and Forklift Drivers (OSH and F Endorsed)
• Yards – Livestock handlers

If you’ve got experience doing the mahi – awesome, but if you’ll be coming in fresh and just keen to earn while you learn – that’s good too. We have a number of Labouring roles and we’ll train you up!
