Job summary

Puma SE in Auckland is seeking two Retail Sales Assistants to join our busy store. The role involves greeting customers, helping with purchases and maintaining a welcoming environment in store.

We offer full-time hours (minimum 30 per week) with pay rates of $24 to $28 per hour. The ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Drug tests and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
• Friendly, approachable attitude and good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service.
• Assist with purchases and product inquiries.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Process refunds, exchanges and issue receipts per store policy.
• Balance till and assist with end-of-day cash reconciliation.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays.
• Check expiry dates and remove unsellable items.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy store environment.
• Support team with daily operations as needed.
