Job summary

Green by Nature AU in Wanaka is seeking a seasonal Weed Eater Operator for a three-month term (October–December 2026) across Wanaka and Queenstown District, based at Frankton depot. You will focus on weed-eating, edging, and helping keep parks and reserves in top condition.

The role suits someone with a strong work ethic who can work alone or as part of the mowing crew, has a full driver’s licence (manual preferred), good fitness, and a can-do attitude. Pre-employment drug test applies.

Qualifications

• Full driver’s licence (manual driving experience preferred).
• Experience with small plant equipment is a plus.

• Good physical fitness and ability to work in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Weed-eat and edge using small mower equipment.
• Assist mowing team and vegetation control across Wanaka and surrounding areas.
• Contribute to keeping Wanaka parks and reserves in top condition.
