Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a energetic Weed Eater Operator for a 3-month seasonal role from October to December 2026, with possible extension. Based at the Frankton depot, the role covers Wanaka, Queenstown District, focusing on weed eating and edging to keep parks and reserves in top condition.

You will need a full driver’s license, good fitness, the ability to work independently or in a team, and the willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Full driver’s licence required (manual driving experience).
• Energetic with a can-do attitude and self-motivated.
• Good physical fitness; hands-on, physically demanding role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Weed eating and edging to maintain parks and reserves.
• Assist mower operator and broader mowing team as needed.
• Occasionally support other tasks across green spaces.
