Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Christchurch is seeking a Sea Logistics Reefer Operational Care Specialist for a 12 month fixed term. The role supports export/import operations, customer care, and onboarding across multiple departments, with direct engagement and bookings coordination.

Based in Christchurch, you will work with carriers, suppliers, and internal systems to ensure timely, accurate shipments and strong customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of each cargo move.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of international shipping and freight processes.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Export and Import operations across multiple trade lanes.
• Deliver exceptional operational and customer service with direct engagement.
• Arrange bookings with transport companies and liaise with carriers.
• Complete shipment details in internal transport management systems.
• Ensure documentation meets company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
