Job summary

Whanganui East School in Whanganui is seeking a passionate Year 3 and 4 teacher to join our primary team. This full-time permanent role covers Years 1–8 with opportunities to lead learning in literacy, numeracy and the arts.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated primary teacher to join our team.

Our kura is committed to strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. We implement Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA) and Numicon across the school, and we welcome applicants with experience in these programmes or who are motivated to grow their capacity in structured literacy and mathematics teaching.

We are looking for a teacher who:
