Job summary

Marian Catholic School (Hamilton) Waikato is seeking a Scale A teacher for Year 5–6 on a full-time fixed-term contract from 29 January 2027 to 16 December 2027.

You will teach across Years 1–8 and contribute to a caring Catholic community, using PB4L and digital technologies, while building strong relationships with whanau and collaborating with a supportive teaching team. The successful candidate will be committed to professional growth and upholding the school’s special character.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher with NZ registration or eligibility.
• Experience using digital technologies in teaching.
• Ability to implement PB4L and culturally responsive practices.
• Proven capacity to build positive relationships with whanau.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a diverse curriculum for Years 1–8, including Years 5–6.
