Job summary

Hamilton Christian School in New Zealand is seeking a warm, relational Year 1-15 primary teacher to join our team, teaching across the NZ curriculum within a caring Christian school context.

Applicants must be a registered teacher with the New Zealand Teaching Council, hold current NZ work rights, and embrace our motto of living out Christian education in daily pedagogy, planning, and care for ākonga, whānau, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching experience using the NZ curriculum.
• Ability to build an engaging classroom programme following the NZ Curriculum.
• High professional standards in line with the NZ Teaching Council's Code and Standards.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with teaching team, SENCO, specialist teachers, and external support agencies such as RTLB.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Areas / composite Years 1-15 with Certificated teaching status.
• Deliver lessons aligned to the NZ Curriculum and support student wellbeing.
