Job summary

Waituna West School in the Manawatū district is seeking a Scale A teacher for Term 4, 2026 to teach a Year 1–2 class of 16 students. The position is fixed term and part-time up to 0.8 FTTE, with hours and days negotiable based on availability.

Qualifications

Waituna West School is seeking a Scale A teacher during Term 4, 2026, to teach our class of 16 fabulous Year 1 and Year 2 students.

Situated in the heart of the scenic Manawatu district, our school offers a vibrant rural learning environment just 20 minutes from Feilding and 40 minutes from Palmerston North.

The position is up to 0.8 FTTE, but exact hours and days can be negotiated based on the time and availability of the successful applicant.
