Job summary

Peninsula Primary School in West Auckland is seeking a certificated teacher for a 12-month maternity leave cover (Years 1–8). The role includes teaching across the primary and intermediate curriculum and contributing to a vibrant, inclusive school community.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid teaching certificate for NZ primary education and have experience in delivering core subjects such as English, mathematics, science, and the arts within a collaborative team at Peninsula Primary School.

Qualifications

• Must be a certificated primary/years 1–8 teacher.
• Experience teaching in primary or intermediate settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach across primary curriculum as required for maternity cover.
• Deliver English, Health and physical education, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, and The arts.
• Support school values and inclusive practices during the contract period.
