Wyndham School in New Zealand seeks a certificated teacher to cover a parental leave vacancy in the junior school (Years 1–8) for 2027. The role is full time and fixed term, starting 28 January 2027 and ending 27 January 2028, with a supportive board and a collegial team.

The school sits in a rural setting between Invercargill and Gore, central to the community. We offer well-embedded literacy and numeracy approaches, opportunities to lead learning areas, and strong professional learning support

Qualifications

• Must have current certificated teaching status.
• Able to teach across Years 1–8 in a junior/primary setting.

We are looking for another wonderful teacher to join our junior school team in 2027 to cover a parental leave vacancy.

Our school is a thriving rural primary school with a very supportive board and a happy, collegial team.

Wyndham is a small town placed between Invercargill and Gore and our school, alongside the local high school, is the centre of the community.

We have well-embedded literacy and numeracy approaches and enjoy teaching our students a rich and fun curriculum. Each teacher is encouraged and supported to lead areas of learning.
