Job summary

Taupaki School in Auckland is seeking a passionate New Entrant teacher for 2027 to cover a staff leave. The role is full-time and fixed-term from 27 January 2027 to 17 December 2027, with class cohorts growing through the year and cohort entry twice per term.

We want a NZ primary trained educator who is proficient in Structured Literacy, builds strong whānau relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, energetic team.

Based in an idyllic country setting, Taupaki is a well-established primary school of approximately 250 pupils. Due to a staff member taking leave, we are seeking a passionate, experienced New Entrant teacher for 2027.

Taupaki School uses cohort entry (twice a term), and the class will grow across the year.
