We are looking for a culturally responsive, reflective, positive and highly motivated teacher to join our kura for 2027 to work alongside a dedicated and passionate team. While this position is fixed term covering maternity leave, one should consider this an amazing opportunity to get a foot in the door at what is one of the most amazing kura to work in.
Applicants should have a sound understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and be committed to undergoing PLD around the refresh. They must have the ability to work collaboratively and place a high emphasis on building relationships with our tamariki and their whānau, as our kura utilises Relationships First principles to guide our kaupapa and pedagogy. Our tamariki attain high standards of achievement and we actively look at ways to extend those through our inquiry learning.
Strengths in structured literacy, inquiry learning and STEAM would be advantageous.
