Job summary

Servilles in Cityworks Depot, Auckland, is seeking a friendly and client focused salon receptionist to join our busy salon.

As the first point of contact, you will greet clients, handle bookings by phone and email, assist with queries, process payments, and support the team with admin tasks on Fridays and Saturdays (15-20 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role in hair/beauty is preferred.
• Excellent communication across face-to-face, telephone and email.
• Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to pick up POS system software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and greeting clients in a warm and professional manner.
• Handling client bookings including scheduling appointments by phone and email and liaising with the team.
• Assisting clients with queries and providing information about services and products.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate sales records within the POS.
• Supporting the salon team with various administrative and client service tasks.

Servilles is a leading hair salon group with over 30 years of providing exceptional hair and beauty and education. We are seeking an enthusiastic and client focused salon receptionist to join our busy salon in Cityworks Depot.

The Salon Receptionist role serves as the first point of contact for all clients, creating a welcoming, positive, and professional experience from the moment they enter the salon.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a customer facing role, ideally within the hair and beauty industry.

A 'people person' with strong communication skills: face to face, telephone and email

Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills

Ability to pick up software POS systems
