Magnetic Recruitment - Gisborne, North Island
An established customer base, genuine autonomy, strong operational support and the opportunity to grow a region without constantly chasing cold leads is even harder.
We're recruiting a Senior Sales Specialist to take ownership of a Gisborne territory for a large national business. You'll inherit an existing portfolio of customers ranging from local operators through to larger commercial organisations and be responsible for growing those relationships while identifying new opportunities across the region.
This isn't a customer service role and it's not a role where you'll simply manage what's already there.
The expectation is that you'll understand how to grow accounts, retain customers, uncover opportunities and have the commercial conversations needed to create long-term value for both your customers and the business.
A good sales territory is hard to find.

We're less concerned about the industry you've come from and more interested in how you approach sales. You might currently be an Account Manager, Territory Manager, Sales Representative or Sales Specialist. What matters is that you can demonstrate the process behind your results.
You’ll be commercially minded, self-managing and comfortable operating as the face of the business across the region.
For someone who enjoys building relationships but still wants the challenge and reward that comes with commercial sales, this is a genuinely attractive opportunity.
