Job summary

Skyline Queenstown is seeking a customer-focused Sales & Guest Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Queenstown, NZ. You will provide bilingual Mandarin and English support across our Sales and Reservations functions, handling guest and trade partner enquiries, reservations, account administration, and stakeholder relationships to contribute to Skyline's commercial success and guest experiences.

This on-site role is primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility for trade events, site

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with NZ Inbound Trade and OTA landscape.
• 3+ years’ experience in reservations, sales support, customer service, or administration.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests, trade partners, and key stakeholders.
• Confidence using booking, reservation, and other business systems, with ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience working with travel trade partners, wholesalers, and/or inbound tour operators is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide bilingual Mandarin and English support across Sales and Reservations.
• Manage guest and trade partner enquiries, reservations, account administration, and stakeholder relationships.
• Support Skyline's commercial success and exceptional guest experiences by coordinating across departments.
• Collaborate across multiple departments and locations to support domestic and international visitors and trade partners.
• Work mainly Monday–Friday with occasional events outside standard hours, including weekends.
• This is an on-site role with no remote work option.

About The Role

We're looking for a customer-focused and highly organised Sales & Guest Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Skyline Queenstown. In this varied role, you'll provide bilingual (Mandarin and English) support across our Sales and Reservations functions, managing guest and trade partner enquiries, reservations, account administration, and stakeholder relationships while contributing to Skyline's commercial success and exceptional guest experiences.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused position requiring excellent communication, organisation, and relationship management skills. Working across multiple departments and locations, you'll play an important role in supporting our domestic and international visitors, travel trade partners, and business operations.

This role is primarily rostered Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required to support trade events, site inspections, familiarisation visits, and hosting duties outside standard business hours, including occasional weekends. This is an on-site position and is not available as a remote role.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• a minimum of 2 years' experience with, and a strong understanding of the New Zealand Inbound Trade and Online Travel Agent (OTA) landscape;
• a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in reservations, sales support, customer service, or administration;
• fluency in Mandarin and English - this is required, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin and English-speaking guests and travel partners, to provide information, assistance, and guest service;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail;
• proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests, trade partners, and key stakeholders;
• confidence using booking, reservation, and other business systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies; and
• experience working with travel trade partners, wholesalers, and/or inbound tour operators is advantageous.

This Role Offers

• $65,000 - $70,000 per annum with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week;
