Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Group in Auckland Airport is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Airport Store Management team and uphold a culture of high performance and great customer experiences across the store. You will drive sales, maintain merchandising standards, manage inventory and costs, and coach the store team.

The role suits someone with retail experience, strong customer service, and comfort with electronics.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience with broad knowledge of computers, mobile phones and other electronics.
• Customer service experience and cash handling with EFTPOS/POS systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a consolidated sales team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profitability targets for the store through training, coaching, support and feedback to the team.
• Lead and maintain the merchandising standard.
• Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and controllable expenses.

Job Description

As a Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to assist the Airport Store Management team as a key management support role, ensuring that you create, support, and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, including:

• Achieving sales and profitability targets for your store through providing ongoing training, coaching, support and feedback to the store’s team
• Leading and maintaining the agreed merchandising standard
• Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and management of controllable expenses

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere, having proven retail experience and a broad knowledge of computers, mobile phones and other electronics
• Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including the use of EFTPOS facilities (preferably electronic POS systems), and the ability to sell retail products and merchandise
• Be able to work both independently and as part of our consolidated sales team, and have the ability to work under pressure
