Job summary

Ashley & Martin is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant for our Christchurch clinic on the South Island. You will guide patients from the initial consultation through to ongoing treatment, leveraging an established patient base and a structured working environment.

With a strong earning potential and uncapped commissions, you will manage appointments, educate on treatment options, and build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ consultative sales or customer-service experience.
• Ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• CRM experience and health/medical exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured consultations to assess patient needs and goals.
• Clearly explain suitable treatment programs to patients.
• Guide patients through the enrolment and decision process.
• Achieve clinic sales, conversion and retention targets.
• Follow up enquiries and prospective patients.
• Build relationships with new and existing patients.
• Monitor patient experience and address concerns.
• Coordinate appointments with the medical team.
• Maintain accurate patient and payment records.
• Support day-to-day clinic operations.

The role

As the Consultant for our Christchurch clinic, you will take ownership of the patient experience from the initial consultation through to ongoing treatment support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting structured consultations to understand each patient’s needs and goals

• Clearly explaining suitable treatment programs

• Guiding patients confidently through the decision and enrolment process

• Achieving clinic sales, conversion and retention targets

• Following up enquiries and prospective patients

• Building strong relationships with new and existing patients

• Monitoring the patient experience and addressing concerns

• Coordinating appointments and consultations with our medical team

• Maintaining accurate patient and payment records

• Supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the clinic

About you

You are commercially confident, credible and comfortable discussing personal concerns with empathy and professionalism.

You will bring:

• At least two years’ experience in consultative sales or a sales-focused customer service role

• A demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• The confidence to guide customers through considered purchasing decisions

• A professional, empathetic and patient-focused approach

• Strong organisation and attention to detail

• Experience using CRM and business systems

• A genuine interest in helping people achieve positive outcomes

• Experience in healthcare, beauty, wellness, premium retail or another personal service environment would be valuable but is not essential.
