Job summary

NIOA Group in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Support Specialist to receive, store, pick and pack goods, manage inventory and support safe warehouse operations.

You will handle returns, provide customer service by phone and email, and work within a regulated environment requiring firearms licence and Security Clearance. A positive team player who can work independently is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or similar operational environment.
• Sound computer literacy.
• Ability to attain firearms licence and Defence Security Clearance.
• Current Defence Security Clearance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming goods.
• Support safe handling and secure storage of firearms, ammunition and sporting goods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across warehouse safety, accuracy, efficiency and service delivery.
• Deliver prompt, professional customer service support via phone and email, assisting with enquiries, order updates and product questions.
• Communicate with internal teams, carriers and customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
