Job summary

Working In in New Zealand is seeking experienced rope access qualified bridge inspectors to deliver structural inspections and asset-condition assessments, ensuring safety, reliability and performance of critical transport infrastructure. The role requires NZ-specific standards compliance and strong maintenance planning collaboration.

Applicants should have 2+ years in structural inspection, a relevant qualification, and NZ work rights.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in structural inspection, engineering, or a relevant trade
  • Current Full Driver Licence
  • PCN/AINDT NDT MT or UT certification (at least one)
  • Right to work in New Zealand

Responsibilities

  • conduct routine, reactive, and detailed structural inspections in accordance with NZTA standards
  • collect, analyse, and report asset condition data to support asset management decisions
  • identify and recommend maintenance and renewal solutions for structural assets
  • support the planning and delivery of structural investigations and inspection programmes
