Laminex New Zealand in Hamilton invites applications for a Rolling Team Member/Forklift Operator to support our paper production line. This hands-on role focuses on safe forklift operation, accurate stock handling and timely movement of pallets to keep production running smoothly.

You’ll work in a small team with autonomy, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety. Pre-employment tests apply and NZ work entitlement is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Current forklift licence and forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good counting and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric forklift to move large paper pallets throughout the plant and support stock management activities.
• Preparing paper orders to match daily production schedules and sorting the paper into different orders.
• Responsible for stock control including, counting, sorting and handling paper products with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assisting with warehouse operations during peak periods and to support team requirements.

We are looking for a Rolling Team Member/Forklift Operator to join our team in Hamilton. This hands‑on role involves preparing paper products for production, ensuring materials are accurately counted, sorted, and delivered to the press in the correct sequence. Working in a small team, you'll enjoy a high level of autonomy while playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating an electric forklift to move large paper pallets throughout the plant and support stock management activities.
• Preparing paper orders to match daily production schedules and sorting the paper into different orders.
• Responsible for stock control including, counting, sorting and handling paper products with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assisting with warehouse operations during peak periods and to support team requirements.

This is a full‑time position working 42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday on an 8‑hour shift, with a paid lunch break included each day.
