Fulton Hogan in Northland is seeking a Class 4 Driver/Operator to join our team and support frontline surfacing and roading projects. You’ll drive, operate machinery and perform labouring tasks under the direction of a Foreperson or Supervisor, helping keep work progressing safely, on time, and to a high standard.

You must hold a current Class 4 license with W, T and R endorsements (Class 5 is a bonus) and have at least two years’ practical site experience with traffic management.

Qualifications

• Current Class 4 license with W, T and R endorsements.
• Class 5 license is beneficial.
• At least 2 years of practical site experience.
• Experience and understanding of traffic management requirements on sites.
• Safety‑first mindset; reliable and team‑focused.

Responsabilités

• Drive, operate and labour as directed by Foreperson or Supervisor.
• Operate machinery only if trained, competent and licensed to use.
• Assist site readiness with pre-start meetings, risk planning, lifting and keeping the site tidy.
• Follow safety, quality and environmental processes; report incidents and near misses.
