Fulton Hogan invites experienced Driver/Operator to join our Transport team in Wellington, New Zealand. In this hands-on role you’ll drive Class 4 vehicles, deliver asphalt to paving sites, tow plant trailers, and operate machinery while upholding safety and quality standards.

We seek a practical, reliable team player with at least 3 years of heavy vehicle experience and a strong commitment to safety. Endorsements W, T and R are preferred but not essential; day and night shifts are required to

Qualifications

• Class 4 driver licence required.
• Minimum 3 years of practical heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Solid knowledge of transport industry best practices and safe operating standards.
• Endorsements W, T and R are preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, practical and team‑focused with initiative and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks and other plant safely and professionally.
• Deliver asphalt and cart materials to and from sites in line with programme requirements.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Complete vehicle and plant pre-start checks, basic maintenance, logbooks and records.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and loaders when required, while following site safety, quality and environmental expectations.
