Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Driver/Operator in New Zealand to join our Transport team. You will drive Class 4 or 5 vehicles, deliver asphalt, tow plant trailers and operate machinery on site and on the road.

Safety comes first as you maintain gear and support a down-to-earth team that backs each other to deliver high-quality work. You should have a Class 5 licence, 3+ years of heavy vehicle driving experience, and strong knowledge of transport best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires Class 5 driver licence and 3+ years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Solid knowledge of transport industry best practices and safety standards.
• W, T and R endorsements are preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, practical and team-focused with initiative and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks, truck and trailer units, and other plant safely and professionally.
• Deliver asphalt and cart materials to and from work sites in line with programme requirements.
• Load and unload trucks and tow plant trailers to and from site.
• Complete vehicle and plant pre-start checks, basic maintenance, logbooks and required records.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and loaders as required, while following site safety, quality and environmental expectations.
