Job summary

Unite Recruit in New Zealand is seeking workers to support civil/site operations across Wellington. You’ll drive to sites, manage entry points, and operate in various suburbs such as Porirua and Kapiti Coast. A good safety mindset and willingness to travel are essential.

Training certificates are a bonus and we can help you obtain them. Expect ongoing work with opportunities to upskill. Basic PPE is provided and there are cash bonuses for performance and referrals.

Qualifications

• Own reliable vehicle to reach sites on time.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays.
• Will travel to different suburbs within Wellington (Porirua, Hutt Valley, Wellington CBD, Kapiti Coast/Paraparaumu).

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic and help set up/maintain control zones.
• Communicate effectively using two-way radios.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Regularly communicate availability for work.

• Your own reliable vehicle to get to sites on time (public transport is not ideal, as you may be assigned where it isn't accessible)
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays
• Willingness to travel to different suburbs within Wellington, including, but not limited to:
  • Porirua, Hutt Valley, Wellington CBD, Kapiti Coast/Paraparaumu
• A good attitude and work ethic
• Commitment to health & safety
• TTM Worker and TMO-NP/P certificates are beneficial (but not essential)
  • We can help you acquire these qualification/s.
