Job summary

Higgins Wellington is seeking a motivated Driver to support drainage construction and maintenance across the region. You will safely transport materials, plant and equipment and work alongside our crews to deliver essential infrastructure for local communities.

This hands-on role requires a Class 2 licence (Class 4 advantageous), a commitment to health and safety, and teamwork. Higgins offers a permanent, full-time position with ongoing training and a supportive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 Driver Licence.
• Class 4 Licence advantageous.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Positive attitude and reliable team player.
• Experience in civil construction or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating company vehicles to transport materials, plant and equipment.
• Supporting construction and maintenance crews on-site when required.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard.
• Following all safety procedures and transport regulations.
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
• Working collaboratively with site teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
