Job summary

St John of God Hauora Trust in Wellington seeks a committed Workforce Development Coordinator (part-time, 16 hours per week) to lead education and training for clinical and non-clinical staff across Karori and Upper Hutt. This RN role focuses on developing, delivering and evaluating programmes to strengthen capability while aligning with EGL principles.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification with NZ registration.
• Genuine interest in staff education, development and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using technology and learning systems.
• Proactive, organised approach and ability to work independently.
• Cultural competence and understanding of EGL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee induction and orientation for all staff in the region.
• Maintain accurate records of all internal and external training.
• Facilitate ongoing training programmes.
• Provide training for management when required.
• Collaborate with Workforce Development Team in Christchurch.
• Assist with implementation of the internal Learning Management System.
