Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley Wellington District Nursing Service is seeking a Nurse Educator part-time to lead clinical education and workforce development. You will support District Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and HCAs with orientation, ongoing professional development, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Current Annual Practising Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
Minimum of five years' broad clinical nursing experience.
Nurse Educator experience or demonstrated teaching/facilitation.
Current full New Zealand driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver education programmes for District Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and HCAs.
Support staff in the Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP).
Develop and maintain online learning resources through Ko Awatea learn.
Assist with orientation and onboarding of new staff.
Participate in Clinical Governance and service improvement initiatives.
Promote evidence-based practice and support clinical competency development.
