Vodafone New Zealand Limited in Napier is seeking a Retail Lead to drive customer experiences and coach a team of Customer Champions and a Floor Lead. You’ll report to an Area Lead and lead everyday performance improvements in a fast-paced retail setting.

You’ll build a better-connected Aotearoa by delivering world-class service, achieving KPIs, and fostering a highly engaged team. The role requires flexibility, weekend work, and a passion for developing people.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of operational experience in a retail sales environment with understanding of retail operations.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to foster an engaged team.
• Skilled in navigating conflict and maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible attitude with a strong drive to prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs and inspiring others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an exceptional customer experience in our retail environment by creating an engaging process that meets or exceeds customer needs.
• Monitor and achieve store KPIs and sales targets, motivating team members to reach their goals through one-on-one guidance and coaching.
• Take accountability and ownership of the store's operational management.
• Lead a team of Customer Champions and a Floor Lead.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate hiring processes and generate staff rosters.
• Cultivate a customer-obsessed culture within the team.
