Baby On The Move Grey Lynn is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant & Child Restraint Technician to join our team. This part-time role covers Sundays and Mondays with occasional Saturday shifts, offering hands-on training in car restraint installation and in-store support.

You’ll help customers in-store and over the phone, merchandise stock, and may assist with social media and marketing projects. A positive, reliable team player with good communication will thrive here.

Competenze

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Able to lift heavy objects as part of the role.
• Full training provided for car restraint installation.

We’re on the lookout for a retail superstar to join our friendly team at Baby On The Move Grey Lynn!

We’re a specialist baby store, proudly helping parents and caregivers make confident, informed choices for their little ones. Our store is known for its warm service, trusted advice, and hands‑on support - and now we’re looking for someone who shares that same passion.

About the Role

This is a part‑time position with the following set hours:

Sunday 9:30am - 4.30pm.

Monday 9:00am - 3:00pm

We also have the opportunity to pick up a Saturday Shift starting at the end of November.

Your role will be varied and customer‑focused. Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):

Assisting customers in-store and over the phone

Installing child car restraints (full training provided)

Merchandising and stock presentation

Optional: assisting with social media and marketing projects

Cleaning and maintaining child restraints from our hire range, ensuring they are hygienic, safe, and ready for the next customer.
