Job summary

The Farmers Timaru store is hiring a part-time Sales and Service Assistant in the Womenswear Department. You will deliver friendly service and assist customers in choosing apparel while maintaining the department.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail experience, are energetic, and willing to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts. You will help with stock, fitting rooms, and product knowledge to ensure a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

Our Timarustoreis looking for an energeticSales and Service Assistant to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 1-2 yearsretail experience.

This is a key role that is all about providing our customers with friendly, helpful service. You'll provide a great customer shopping experience by:

• Welcoming customers to our store and offering assistance
• Listening to their needs and finding solutions
• Providing product knowledge to help customers make their selection
• Ensuring the department is kept tidy and well stocked
• Providing assistance in our fitting rooms

This role is part-time and will involve working Thursday 10:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 10:00am - 5:15pm and Saturday 10:00am - 5:15pm.

Our stores can be busy, so we need someone who is energetic, positive and with a can-do attitude.
