Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) operates Waitomo Glowworm Caves Centre. This fixed-term, part-time role serves visitors at the Waitomo Glowworm Cave Centre shop, delivering premium customer service and product knowledge.

You will help guests discover local attractions, share insights about the North Island, and create memorable visitor experiences with a friendly, professional approach in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in retail, sales, merchandising, or stockroom work (advantageous).
• Passion for the local area and a desire to showcase its hidden gems.
• Ability to create memorable and authentic visitor experiences.
• Friendly, confident, and outgoing with the ability to start conversations easily.
• Professionalism, excellent presentation, and strong interpretation skills.
• Energetic team player with a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to work in a 7-day operation, 24 hours per week.

About the role:

In this fixed term part-time role, you'll provide outstanding hospitality to our visitors at our souvenir and gift shop located in the Waitomo Glowworm Cave Centre.
