Job summary

ACC in Wellington invites applications for a Resource Planning Analyst in a 9-month secondment or fixed-term role. You will ensure resources are effectively planned, allocated and utilised across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, working with senior leaders and delivery leads to forecast demand, identify risks and enable informed decisions.

The appointing salary ranges from $90,039 to $100,043 based on experience; ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 9% superannuation scheme

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in resource planning, capacity planning, workforce management or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to understand resource requirements and balance competing priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using resource planning or project management tools.
  • Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and their impact on resource allocation and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and confidence to recommend practical solutions.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and creating equitable outcomes.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and health and safety best practice.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Planning Analyst to join our Change Delivery team within the Strategy, Engagement & Prevention group. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring change delivery resources are effectively planned, allocated and utilised across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, Practice Leads and Delivery Leaders, you will provide resource planning insights, forecast demand, identify risks and support informed decision making. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of change initiatives that help keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $90,039 to $100,043 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
