Job summary

CHT Beachhaven is seeking an experienced Unit Coordinator in Auckland to provide clinical leadership and coordinate resident care. You will lead a team, promote safety and wellbeing, and work with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to continually improve care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, conducting clinical reviews, and upholding infection control and high documentation standards. A NZ RN practising certificate and 3+ years in leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Registered Nurse practising certificate.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong patient/family communication and assessment skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
• Ability to lead and support care staff.
• Proficiency with standard IT and clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership, supporting staff and coordinating workloads.
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred care for resident safety and wellbeing.
• Coordinate individualised care plans and clinical reviews with residents and families.
• Promote quality improvement, infection control, safety, and clinical documentation.
• Support audits, resource management, and quality initiatives.
